Fashion Ad Flashback- 2003 Alexander McQueen Ad Starring Nanda Hampe

In 2003 fashion photographer Steven Klein shot German-Thai model Nanda Hampe lying on a hammock against a star-filled backdrop for one of Alexander McQueen's first ad campaigns. The spring/summer Irere collection was like a mysterious fairytale and the rainbow-coloured dress that was featured in the shot was just one of the ultra-feminine pieces that season.

Rihanna Replaces Megan Fox As The Face And Body Of Emporio Armanio

Say goodbye to those sexy Armani ads starring Megan Fox. (Remember the 2010 spring and 2010-11 fall/winter ad campaigns?) Giorgio Armani has tapped Rihanna to front the 2011-12 fall/winter Emporio Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans ad campaigns.

Megan Fox was the face of the Italian luxury fashion houses' jeans and underwear line for the 2010 seasons and followed in the footsteps of Victoria Beckham.

Rihanna took time out from her new Loud tour over the weekend to shoot the upcoming ads in New York with famed fashion photographer Steven Klein. The Grammy Award winner's Emporio Armani campaign will launch in September worldwide.

Earlier this year, Madonna appeared in a series of sexy housewife poses for Dolce & Gabbana’s spring/summer ad campaign which showed her hanging up laundry and sweeping the kitchen. The campaign was a huge success and since the designers announced Madge would return for the fall/winter campaign fashionistas have been anxiously awaiting to see what is going to happen next. A couple weeks ago the first shot from Dolce & Gabbana’s 2010-2011 fall/winter advertising campaign was leaked that showed Madonna and son (model Max Schneider) walking the streets with groceries and now we have even more images of the Queen of pop playing an old school Italian housewife.

The next set of images, shot by Steven Klein in Harlem, include Madonna patiently waiting while her grandmother alters a hem, holding a chicken, with family for a meal, having a dance lesson and even an intimate shot of her in a bedroom with a baby. Here’s a look:

It's time for a little more Madonna. She's back again and Dolce & Gabbana are giving us a preview from Madonna's forthcoming 2010-2011 fall/winter advertising campaign. The ads will tell the story of an Italian family in stylish black and white. Paparazzi images from the shoot surfaced months ago but we still don't know who the young gentleman accompanying Madonna is. We do know that the upcoming ads were photographed by Steven Klein.

Here's a preview of the upcoming campaign.

Madonna - Dolce & Gabbana f10 Ad Preview

The Italian design duo has this to say about the upcoming ads starring Madonna:
This winter's Dolce & Gabbana womenswear advertising campaign is like a family photo album where dignity, beauty find all their ways of expression: an impromptu tango in the living room, a heartfelt laughter luminescent in form, faces, serious, proud.

I love the first shot and can't wait to see the rest of the campaign.

When you stop and think about it... it’s amazing if not overwhelming the number of fashion campaigns Madonna has actually done. With the Dolce & Gabbana ads currently appearing in fashion mags around the globe... get ready for another campaign because one is on the way. The next ad we are going to see our girl Madonna in will be promoting a new collaboration between Madonna and Dolce & Gabbana. Madge and the Italian design duo have teamed up to create a collection of six new, luxe sunglasses. The official press release that just came out announces the creation of MDG sunglasses:

“MG ICON, the newly formed joint venture between Iconix Brand Group and Madonna and Guy Oseary have announced their first designer accessories collection, MDG. MDG is a sunglass collection personally designed by Madonna together with the designer-duo Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. The collaboration marks Madonna's first foray into the world of eyewear and is the first co-branded project Dolce and Gabbana have done in their career. The collection will showcase the MDG logo on styles and will be manufactured by Luxottica. The collection will retail from $248 to $289 and will be carried in all Dolce & Gabbana stores worldwide, plus the Sunglass Hut chain and select opticians. The MDG collection will debut during the May market."

Here’s an early look at the ads for the collection shot by Steven Klein:

Madonna appear in the ads with Tyson Ballou... although you can't really see much of him in these preview shots. Although apparently there is more of Tyson to come.

What do you think of Madonna’s latest design gig... and her latest modeling gig?

Remember way back in December when I talked Madonna and the sneak peak at her much talked about ad campaign for Dolce & Gabbana... Well months before it even came it the campaign quickly became one of the most talked about campaigns of the spring. Finally, after what seems like forever... we get to see the entire campaign, that was shot by superstar photographer Steven Klein, including the newly released final shots. I have to say... if you weren’t impressed before you are going to be now.

Oh yeah... if you are really interested in seeing what’s going on you can actually head over to Dolce & Gabbana’s website at 2:00pm (Italy time) and catch their 2010-2011 menswear show...

But that’s not all... Dolce & Gabbana have released their spring/summer 2010 campaign which was photographed by Steven Klein in New York. As for the models... the campaign features Dolce & Gabbana regulars Adam Senn, David Gandy, Noah Mills and Sam Webb.
