Trends, trends, trends! Here's a look at 3 different trends that dominated the red carpet at the 54th annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night.
Anything but basic black:
These black gowns were anything but boring... Rihanna (Giorgio Armani), Adele (Giorgio Armani), Alicia Keys (Alexandre Vauthier), Giuliana Rancic (Georges Chakra couture), Julianne Hough (Kaufman Franco) and Corinne Bailey Rae (Christian Siriano).
It was a night of bold choices on the red carpet of the 2012 People's Choice Awards on Wednesday night in Los Angeles. Stars brought serious glamour with metaillics, bright colours and dreamy neutrals as they made their way into the awards bash.
Here's a look at a few of the celebs who walked the red carpet.
Lea Michele made a flirty statement wearing a '20s-inspired fringe Marchesa frock. Emma Stone looked super slick wearing a Gucci suit. Miley Cyrus wore a fashion-forward cream-coloured David Koma dress and accessorized with a vibrant pair of stilettos and a silver Marchesa clutch. Elisha Cuthbert wore a dramatic spring 2012 VAWK gown by Toronto-based designer Sunny Fong.
The 2011 Emmy extravaganza delivered all of the glitz and glamour that we've come to expect from the annual television event. Of course if you were watching you will already know what the biggest trend of the night was because the celebs walking the red carpet at the 63rd annual awards bash had everyone seeing red!
Here's a look at 12 different ladies in red who hit the 2011 Emmy red carpet.
Lea Michele wore a sensational red Marchesa dress. Kate Winslet donned a gorgeous red cap-sleeve Elie Saab gown. Nina Dobrev stunned wearing an elegant Donna Karan gown from the label's resort collection. Kerry Washington wore a gorgeous look from Zuhair Murad's fall/winter 2011 couture collection. Sofia Vergara opted for a custom Vera Wang coral one-shouldered gown. Sarah Hyland wore a custom coral Christian Siriano gown.
Some of the biggest names in music hit the Las Vegas red carpet on Sunday night for the 2011 Billboard Music Awards.
Here's a look at a few of my favourite looks from the musical evening.
Taylor Swift sparkled wearing a sequined blush Elie Saab gown. Selena Gomez wowed the crowd wearing a sultry Dolce & Gabbana cut-out dress (with a super hip-high slit) and a pair of red sparkling bow-adorned stilettos. Rihanna opted for a crisp white Max Azria suit and a pair of nude Christian Louboutin stilettos.
Although there weren't many worst dressed nominees walking the red carpet at the 2011 Billboard Music Awards, there were definitely a few artists that made a questionable fashion statement.
Ke$ha wore a metallic sequined and chiffon Jad Ghanour dress complete with a confusing tulle train and too many cut outs. Nicki Minaj opted for a pale blue Mark Fast jumpsuit with sequin detailing, white sandals and pink hair. Mary J. Blige wore a terrible leopard print Marc Bouwer gown from the 2010 fall/winter collection.

The biggest names in country music hit the Las Vegas red carpet on Sunday night for the 46th annual Academy of Country Music Awards. Forget the cowboy boots and ten gallon hats... These ladies were dressed to impressed.
Here’s a look at a few of my favourite looks from the musical evening.
Taylor Swift wore a pale yellow embroidered gown with floral applique from the spring 2010 Elie Saab haute couture collection. Nicole Kidman looked fabulous wearing a L'Wren Scott with a slit up the thigh. Carrie Underwood went for glam wearing a gorgeous purple Jean Fares Couture gown.

Celine Dion returned to Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas this past week showing off a selection of stunning dresses. Here's a look at the fashionable on stage wardrobe of Canada's favourite chanteuse.
Celine's glamorous looks included a gorgeous nude crystal Armani Prive strapless dress and a pale blue Elie Saab dress with a thigh-high split.
Celine also hit the stage wearing a white draped Kaufman Franco one-shouldered dress, a black sequined Balmain dress with a thigh-high slit and bold shoulders and a short and sexy gold embellished Balmain number.
Love her or hate her you have to admit that she looks pretty fantastic! Remember this woman just had twins four months ago.

There is no doubt about it. The annual Academy Award extravaganza is the most watched fashion event across the globe. While it is one of my craziest nights (I am typing like a mad man preparing best and worst dressed lists to get up promptly) it is also one of my favourite nights. I just love watching the red carpet.
Every year I watch and select my best dressed and worst dressed ladies for Sympatico... so who made the best dressed list at the 83rd annual Academy Awards?
Mila Kunis was effortlessly glamorous wearing a lavender Elie Saab gown, Natalie Portman wore an incredible deep violet draped Rodarte gown, Halle Berry wore a stunning Marchesa gown and Hilary Swank wore a shimmering Gucci confection.

And the worst dressed...
Helena Bonham Carter collaborated with costume designer Colleen Atwood for her questionable Oscar look, Melissa Leo wore a gold doily Marc Bouwer dress, Marisa Tomei chose a navy vintage Charles James gown from Lily et Cie and Florence and the Machine singer Florence Welch wore a terrible tiered Valentino gown.

Wednesday afternoon Elie Saab showed an exquisite collection of red carpet ready creations that truly dazzled. The Paris runway was filled with floor sweeping gowns in a variety of colours that were composed of multiple layers of tulle, sheer lace or chiffon. Dreamy and feminine. A fairytale-esque wedding dress with beautiful embroidered layers closed the runway show.
Trends, trends, trends! Here's a look at 5 different trends that dominated the red carpet at the 68th annual Golden Globes:
Pretty In Pink
From vibrant to pale... lots of ladies opted to wear a shade of pink down the Globe red carpet. Pink dresses were worn by Lea Michel (Oscar de la Renta), Natalie Portman (Viktor & Rolf), Megan Fox (Armani Prive), Sandra Bullock (Jenny Packham), Emma Stone (Calvin Klein), Claire Danes (Calvin Klein) and Julianne Moore (Lanvin).
As expected the red carpet at the Savoy Hotel in London was filled with fashionable A-listers at Tuesday night's 2010 British Fashion Awards.
Here's a look at a few celebs who attended the big bash in style.
Victoria Beckham in a Victoria Beckham dress from her 2011 spring/summer collection. Naomi Campbell in a black Alexander McQueen dress with feathered sleeve detailing. Claudia Schiffer in a dramatic print dress by Mary Katrantzou. Daphne Guinness in a silver lamé gown that she designed herself.
Lara Stone in a simple white Calvin Klein dress. Emma Roberts in Julien Macdonald with blue splashes. Thandie Newton in Peter Pilotto dress from the 2011 spring/summer collection. Daisy Lowe in a dramatic black Elie Saab gown.
My personal fave was Victoria Beckham... I mean no one wears the VB collection like the designer herself. Who was your fave on the red carpet at the 2010 British Fashion Awards?
