Watch Tom Ford's Private 2011 Spring - Summer Presentation

Remember Tom Ford's super-secret womenswear show that took place last September? Well four months after the high-security runway presentation the designer has released the couture-like collection in full motion glory. A video of the much-talked-about collection was released on New Year's Day and it verifies what we all knew... the collection is beyond glamorous.

The fashionable video is set to model/singer Karen Elson's song "Pretty Babies" and features runway clips, backstage shots and audience reactions.

Supermodels walking the runway at the designer’s Madison Avenue boutique include: Karlie Kloss, Freja Beha, Daria Werbowy, Natalia Vodianova, Stella Tennant and Karen Elson (of course). A-list superstars including: Beyonce, Julianne Moore, Lauren Hutton, Marisa Berenson, Rachel Feinstein, Rita Wilson and Daphne Guinness can also be seen strutting their stuff down Tom's runway. Sitting in the audience you can spot Anna Wintour, Solange Knowles and Julianne's daughter Liv while Terry Richardson can be seen snapping amongst the fashion chaos.

Now that you've seen the video... what do you think of Tom Ford’s heroic return to womenswear?

Back in September, Tom Ford debuted his first womenswear collection at a super-exclusive presentation... he also demanded that no photos from the night be published until December. A few poor quality phone pics were leaked online but today we are finally getting a real look at the top secret collection.

Photographer Terry Richardson shot the show for Harper’s Bazaar UK's upcoming issue.

Here's a look at Beyonce, Daphne Guinness, Stella Tennant, Lauren Hutton, Liya Kebede and Joan Smalls strutting their stuff in Tom's 2011 spring/summer collection.

Tom Ford's Return To The World Of Womenswear

After a six-year absence from the world of womenswear, Tom Ford launched his women's ready-to-wear collection at an intimate soiree at his Madison Avenue boutique on Sunday night. It is the first-ever, "Tom Ford" ready-to-wear collection for the superstar designer and the pieces were as luxurious as possible. Each of the garments was actually announced and described in detail by the designer himself.

Tom told the audience at the beginning of the presentation: "I am very proud to show you some wonderful clothes – I think – worn by some of the world's most inspirational women." Amongst the 32 models were some familiar celeb faces including: Beyonce, Julianne Moore, Daphne Guinness, Lauren Hutton and Tom Hanks' wife and Hollywood producer Rita Wilson. Supermodels Amber Valletta, Stella Tennant, Daria Werbowy and Natalia Vodianova also modelled pieces from Tom's 2011 spring/summer collection.

Hoping to see some pictures of the lust worthy collection? Sorry Tom is insisting that no media outlet publish any photographs of the collection for months! Controversial photographer Terry Richardson was the only photographer present and his pictures will not be released until 2011, just before the clothes go on sale.

Forget minimalism... for the House of Dereon, it's all about excess when it comes to their fall 2010 advertising campaign. Beyonce stars in the ad that features her channelling her "Sasha Fierce" alter ego along with some temporary tattoos, bling and big hair.

Here's a look at the new super-styled Dereon ad.

Love her or hate her... you have to admit Lady Gaga’s red carpet ensembles are an event themselves and now her videos are finding themselves worthy of some serious fashion commentary. Remember the over-the-top Alexander McQueen threads in the Bad Romance video last year?

Late Thursday night Lady Gaga released the her latest music video for the song “Telephone” which features Beyonce and... the fashion is... well kinda epic. It’s definitely one of the most fashion forward displays we have seen since... well since her “Bad Romance” video. If you haven't had the chance to check it out yet here it is:

The video is pretty crazy. Actually the words I used when I first saw it on Friday morning were "that video is wack". Wack or not the fashion is truly over-the-top and that's what I talk about in this blog. Here’s a look at all the killer fashion that can be found in the 9 minute video which was directed by Jonas Akerlund:

Telephone by Lady Gaga - Lady Gaga in Jean-Charles de Castelbajac

The video starts off with Lady Gaga being escorted to her jail cell wearing a cleavage baring custom made black and white outfit by the ever imaginative French designer Jean-Charles de Castelbajac. Remember that crazy Kermit the Frog coat we saw Gaga wear last year... same designer. The sunglasses are courtesy of Mercura.

Telephone by Lady Gaga - Lady Gaga wears Brian Lichtenberg Caution Tape Design

The crime scene tape design that Gaga writes around her cell wearing was created by LA based designer Brian Lichtenberg.

Telephone by Lady Gaga - Lady Gaga Wears Viktor & Rolf

The custom made jumpsuit and chain outfit that Gaga wears as she is escorted out to the prison yard was created by Viktor & Rolf... while the very cool lit cigarette sunglasses and crazy platform heels were custom designed by the creative team behind Lady Gaga known as “the Haus of Gaga”. Those smoking cigarette sunglasses are just insane don’t you think?

Telephone by Lady Gaga - Lady Gaga in Search and Destroy and Chanel

Back inside the jail... Gaga’s studded jacket is by Search and Destroy while here sunglasses are Chanel. Notice the Diet Coke can hair rollers? That little detail is one of my fave things in the video. When it is time for the first dance sequence Gaga and her dancers strip down to wear studded/crystallized barely there bikinis designed by the team at the “Haus of Gaga”.

Telephone by Lady Gaga - Lady Gaga and Beyonce in Vintage Thierry Mugler

When Lady Gaga is released from the big house she does it up in a vintage outfit and over-sized hat by Thierry Mugler. Enter Beyonce wearing a vintage Thierry Mugler hat and outfit.

Telephone by Lady Gaga - Beyonce in Atsuko Kudo

Next Beyonce struts her stuff through the dinner wearing a skin tight yellow "Wonder Cup Pencil Dress" dress and hat by Atsuko Kudo who are known for their sexy couture latex designs. The Mickey Mouse inspired flip sunglasses which we have seen Gaga wear a few times before are courtesy of Jeremy Scott.

Telephone by Lady Gaga - Lady Gaga in a Rachel Barrett Dress

During the “Let's Make A Sandwich” sequence Gaga wears clear silicone rubber Rachel Barrett dress... Gaga performed in a similar Rachel Barrett dress on her Monster Ball tour. She wears a Fred Butler constructed telephone hat and a pair of Haus of Gaga papier-mâché boots. When she waitresses her way into the diner the blue telephone hat is replaced with a telephone hair piece created by celeb hairstylist Danilo.

Telephone by Lady Gaga - Lady Gaga in House of Gaga and Beyonce in Oscar Olima

For the big dance sequence with our girls we get Gaga in an American flag bikini outfit by Haus of Gaga and boots by Christian Louboutin. Beyonce dances along in a similar dress by Oscar Olima. (BTW... Gaga has worn L.A.'s Olima designs numerous times in the past year...) The background dancers wear custom made denim outfits by Franc Fernandez and Oscar Olima and leather outfits by Noki, Bess and Haus of Gaga.

Telephone by Lady Gaga - Beyonce in Jean Charles De Castelbajac

Beyonce’s solo scene in a baby blue hotel room has her wearing a bling jacket and shoes by Jean Charles de Castebaljac. The denim shorts she’s wearing are by Franc Fernandez and Oscar Olima.

Telephone by Lady Gaga - Leopard Outfit by Haus Of Gaga

Next up we get Lady Gaga dancing solo in a custom made ribbed leopard 1piece by Haus of Gaga.

Telephone by Lady Gaga - Lady Gaga and Beyonce wear Emilie Pirlot

The video ends off with both Lady Gaga and Beyonce dancing in front of Quentin Tarantino’s infamous “pussy wagon” from the Kill Bill series. Both wear cowboy hat with sheer draping by Emilie Pirlot.

And that’s that! Exhausting right! What do you think of the video... do you have a fave part... and more importantly what do you think of all of the studs, the revealing outfits and those crazy hats and head-pieces? Let me know.

I have to admit I actually really enjoyed this year’s Grammy Awards. The annual awards extravaganza is always the music industry biggest night and of course my favourite part was the red carpet. This year’s red carpet was a mix of the extreme and the tame.

Who did I think were the best dressed celebs to walk the red carpet?

There was Rihanna in a dramatic white Elie Saab couture gown; Pink in a glamorous mermaid gown designed by Tony Ward Haute Couture; Heidi Klum in an incredibly sexy embellished mini-dress courtesy of Emilio Pucci; Lea Michele in a stunning navy Romona Keveza mini-dress; Fergie in a super sexy Emilio Pucci mini-dress; Beyonce in a body hugging blush Stephane Rolland gown; Taylor Swift in an elegant blue Kaufman Franco floor-length gown; Carrie Underwood in a stunning Edition by Georges Chakra gown; Nicole Kidman in a elegant Prada ruffled halter satin gown and Ricky Martin wearing a black perforated leather jacket and super skinny tie.

For the full low-down on who I thought walked the Grammy red carpet in style click here.

And the worst dressed?

2010_Grammy_Awards_Worst_Dressed

There was Lady Gaga in her oddly chic lavender Giorgio Armani Privé solar system gown; Katy Perry wearing what she described as a “Betty Paige meets an Indian Princess” Zac Posen look; Ciara in a sheer and dramatic Givenchy creation; Canadian Supermodel Coco Rocha in a self designed royal blue and gold frock; Adam Lambert in all black; Ke$ha in a sloppy gold fringe dress; Phoebe Price in a lifeless sparkled creation; Imogen Heap in a disturbing dress with it’s own blinking lights and twitter feed; Nadeea and her Playboy party ensemble and Britney Spears in a black long sleeve lace dress over a bodysuit by Dolce & Gabbana.

For the full low-down on who I thought were the fashion dissapointments on the Grammy red carpet click here.

Did you watch this year’s Grammys? What did you think of the show? Who were your best and worst dressed.

Let me know.
