Banana Republic has announced that they will debut a capusle collection of chic essentials designed by Palm Springs-based designer Trina Turk this summer. Each of the limited-edition women's pieces were inspired by the southern California lifestyle.
"I find myself continually inspired by the cool, modern vibe of southern California and I wanted to bring that spirit to Banana Republic's summer collection. Trina's signature prints are beloved and embody the aspirational Palm Springs lifestyle, so she was a natural partner for Banana Republic's capsule collection this Summer." - Simon Kneen, Gap Creative Director
The capsule collection will include women's apparel and accessories that take the "cocktails by the pool" lifestyle as its inspiration. Bright colours and prints will appear on summer-fun items like flirty dresses, printed tunics and plush beach towels.
The nearly 60-piece women's Trina Turk collection will debut in June and will be the highlight of Banana Republic's summer collection. The entire capsule collection will be available in all Banana Republic stores across Canada and online.
