Ready for another outrageous luxury item?
UK-based Superlative Luxury is selling a one of a kind product they are calling "The Most Expensive T-Shirt In The World". The pricetag... $400,000.
The $400,000 t-shirt is made from purely 100% organic cotton and the manufacturers justify the cost by saying that the pricey tee was made using only renewable energy sources (solar and wind) representing a C02 reduction of 90% compared to traditional t-shirt production. There are also 16 diamonds (8 white diamonds and 8 'enhanced' rare black diamonds) bedazzled on the t-shirt, which amount to roughly 9 carats.
Would you buy a $400,000 t-shirt if you could afford it?

What a waste of diamonds - on a plain black T that I can buy for $55!

NO!!! The design looks VERY UGLY anyway, making it SOOO NOT WORTH IT!!! I'd 100% much rather get MOST of Swarovski's crystal items and still have enough left for the homeless & staving people than paying for this RIDICULOUS-LOOKING shirt!!!

All that trouble for an 'ecologically sound' manufacturing process, and then they go and put diamonds in it - which guarantees it is either ecologically or ethically ruined

this is beyond insanity. where is the world leading to? people who are able to afford this tshirt, should rather spend their money on a worthy cause. i blame makers of such tshirt equally.

I understand that there's a race on to have the most expensive Hot Dog, Hamburger etc. It's all about publicity- the hot dog guy hasn't sold one yet and needs 12 hours notice. If I glue diamonds on my pen!s, can I get a Guiness Book of World Record on the most expensive b!owjob? This is getting stupid.

And I presume they used ecologically and socially just mining methods to acquire the diamonds?

NO NO NO NO NO NO and for the buyer of the tee shirt, do you not think the money could have been better used by feeding some poor starving children or even the homeless right in front of your own nose. THE WORLD HAS GONE COMPLETELY INSANE
