It’s a new year... it's a new decade... and it’s also time for Vanity Fair’s annual “Hollywood Issue”! The magazine’s Hollywood Issue is now in its 16th year, and for this year's issue the mag has decided to highlight "bright ingenues" for the popular March issue. Photographer Annie Leibovitz grabbed her camera and has captured 9 of Vanity Fair's hottest young actresses.

From left to right the nine starlets who grace the cover are: Abbie Cornish, Kristen Stewart and Carey Mulligan make the actual cover. Then unfold to see Amanda Seyfried, Rebecca Hall, Mia Wasikowska, Emma Stone, Evan Rachel Wood, and Anna Kendrick.

The cover is a little bland don’t you think? Inside we will get a little more glamour with some pretty dresses. Here’s a look at one of the inside shots.

Mendel), Kristen Stewart (dress by Blumarine), Abbie Cornish (dress by Dior), Mia Wasikowska (dress by Luisa Beccaria), Amanda Seyfried (dress by Chado Ralph Rucci), Rebecca Hall (dress by Dior), Emma Stone (dress by J. Mendel), Evan Rachel Wood (dress by Dior), and Anna Kendrick (dress by J. Mendel).

What do you think of the cover? Are you bored with the idea? Are they missing any of your fave young actresses?

Vaniety Fair’s Hollywood issue hits newsstands on Tuesday February 9th.

I agree with the ladies of The View, where are the hispanic and black actresses (by the way I'm white).

In my opinion, the Vanity Fair New Hollywood issues are a joke. Half the actresses and actors they pick are unknown and it usually stays that way. This issue is no different, Kristen Stewart is the only true famous actress on it, the rest are either only semi famous or not famous at all.

Where is Jayma Mays? You needed another red head!

Until Hollywood starts creating main stream roles for people of color these photos are always going to look the same....BORING!!! It is rediculous that young hollywood does not have a more diverse representation. Lets start seeing some diverse actors in lead roles that aren't action films or specifically designed to attract a minority audience. Maybe if they looked outside of LA we can find these wonderful actors

Where is the color serioulsy its really boring just looking at this cover, very plain, job not well done wtf

Wow, "New Hollywood" looks pale, sad/angry (some look happy) and doe eyed.

Too true, Dorian, they're all white--what is with that? Hardly a fair representation of North America. Completely unimpressed.

It's 2010 and this is the cover for an American magazine -suggesting this is the "new" Hollywood. Give me a break. It looks like the old Hollywood that didn't embrace other races besides us white folk. Shameful. Really bland and boring, yes.

about Megan fox ..ok so she's did not make the cover, but she while
might not be the smartess nicest person around she's still undeniably beautifull..

I'm so happy that Megan Fox didn't make this cover. I totally respect Annie Lebovitz for not choosing Megan. I always see Sympatico home page raving about how hot Megan is, well according to Vanity Fair she is not. Thank you Annie.

very pretty but you are right Chris. The cover shot is a little boring and bland.
